Peter G. Tsarnas, Partner
Peter focuses his practice on bankruptcy and commercial law. He represents clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, and represents clients and trustees in adversary proceedings. While primarily focused on bankruptcy law, Peter also serves clients in the areas of litigation, collections, business law, and landlord-tenant relations.
He is licensed in the United States District Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Akron Bar Association, and previously served as the Chairman of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. He has also spoken at numerous continuing education seminars for the Akron Bar Association and at the White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute in addition to being a guest lecturer teaching Bankruptcy at the University of Akron School of Law.
Peter was appointed to serve on the 2008-2010 term of the Attorney Constituent Group for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio. Among his accomplishments, he was voted an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by his peers which is reserved for attorneys under the age of forty or who have been practicing for ten years or less and was bestowed upon only 2.5% of Ohio attorneys.

In addition to his professional involvement in Summit County, Peter also devotes his time to coaching youth soccer and is presently on the Executive Board of the Green Soccer Association, a non-profit community based soccer association where he presently serves as Treasurer.
